LED 501's ?? , Halogen 501's ?????

Anybody tried LED's in the SIDElights ?? ie:-

I think the PRICE of the halogen ones is a tad high (although

probably 'justified' ??)

 

It SAYS those particular LED's are WIDEpattern so should be OK

for SIDE lights ? ? ?

I've just reminded myself to buy some for my facelift indicators now. Yay!

LED 501's are great. Much brighter than standard bulbs and you can match the colours up to HIDs too.

 

I tend to use the multi-LED ones though.

The single led ones are not very bright if you have pre-facelift j-spec lights go for the multi led ones. I got mine off ebay, but DO NOT USE autostyle direct uk ltd they are conmen and ripoff merchants

I got my leds off ebay, they are 6 led bulns with Xeon effect.

I have them in the clear facelift style front side/indicators and they are brilliant . they look like hids. See the link below, well worth it.

ps not shown in my garage, they were only the small bulbs before they were changed to the LEDs
