Rob
You'll need to remove the door runner trim and kick plate in order to lift the carpet.

rovervi
Just pull cool, just clips then should be easy enough to do this hopefully
Rob
There's a little push-in clip dead centre of the kick panel, so don't "just pull" or you'll shatter it.

rovervi
Why you removing it? never knew i was missing boot release in the car as the previous owner must have snapped it off, somebody on the forum made me wise to the fact that there was supposed to be one. Just going to replace that with the new one i have sourced. Thanks for the advice much appreciated
