michael
If that's an example of his work I think he'd best reduce his prices a little. (By little I really mean give the pictures away for free)

(By little I really mean give the pictures away for free) I have to agree. That picture is shocking not because you are in the picture. That example lacks what a picture requires for people to buy at that kind of cash. It looks like a point a shoot no real thought on lighting and background to make it stand out. crashoverride
whats the need for slagging him off, the other pictures are good, he does it for a living ffs, just postsed the one of me up as 1, i dont need to buy anything from him 2, i didnt want my picuture taken as whats the point he can take a pic of my car any time. and if i post up the thumbs whos to say that people dont just rip them with out consent etc so why dont you lot grow up and think before you open your mouths. you know people on here are just far to willing to pick and dig, if you went you would know it wasnt exactly a "show" day and the pics are only for the few guys that turned up so thay already know what the pictures were. michael
3 days to think up a reply and that's all you managed? Quick summary: 1. He wants to sell pictures without people knowing what they are of. 2. He's unwilling to provide low-res / thumbnail / watermarked samples. 3. The one picture we are allowed to see sucks donkey balls. I wasn't there but based on the above I'd like to purchase 8 random photos of whatever it is he pointed his 2 megapixel camera phone at - where do I sent my £40? Charlotte
Bit of a strange thread. I think maybe you should post a link to a website (does he have one?) of this particular shoot. I can see Michael's point completely - you need to post some more pics, I'm presuming he can copywrite them?

I agree with Michael's points raised actually, just would have perhaps been a bit less 'Michael' if i'd posted them As has been said, simply put up some thumbnails of the shots he's taken with a watermark in them as they'd be pretty useless to anyone who's sad enough to rip them off anyway. As he's said the one that's there isn't the greatest and all we have at the moment is your word that he does this for a living.

Lewis
Enough please. This is someone elses thread. By all means discuss the picture quality (and I also agree with michaels points - but not the delivery of them) but if you two wish to personally attack each other then someone elses thread is not the place to do it. michael
What's wrong with the delivery? Is honesty such a bad thing? Feel free to edit my posts Lewis, delete them if you like.

I have no power or inclination to edit your posts mike. I'm just asking that you consider the original topic. I'm as guilty as the next man of a thread redirection but I often go back and edit my posts if it ends up being an issue.

crashoverride
firstly, 3 days to reply, listen you ingrate i work 14hour shifts and unlike SOME people i have a life outside the forum, so yes three days went by before i logged into the forum like i said as i have a family and a job. secondly i agree with lewis in the point that this is not the place to start slagging people off especialy lucifer, there is a correct place and thread for that as has been established over i dont know how many weeks. thirdly lucifer is right ffs michael take your thumb out your arse it has naff all to do with you, the thread was not an "i want your opinion on" it was for the infortunate few that turned up to the event i hoped to at least let them get something from it. if it was me i would send the pics for free but its not so im only doing my part. this has nothing to do with you, not your concern nor at any point did i ask for an opinion, so crawl back into what ever crack you came from. supra nic i will see what i can do if i can get the orignal files from him i will shrink them and try and post some thumbs. im not here to offend anyone but im sick and tired of those who use this forum and club as just a place to sling shit at each other, what ever happend to the sprit of why these places were set up??? so i will do my best for those who are intrested asap
Tricky-Ricky
To my mind it just raises the point, why pimp someone else's photos,? and shouldn't it then come under the trader rules? as he is a professional.
michael
firstly, 3 days to reply, listen you ingrate i work 14hour shifts and unlike SOME people i have a life outside the forum, so yes three days went by before i logged into the forum like i said as i have a family and a job. Why do you feel that I'm ungrateful? Should I be grateful for something? The points raised simply highlight that the trader you are working on behalf of isn't doing themselves any favours here. Take the comments raised by me, and others, onboard if you want to help your chum make some cash from selling pictures to members. secondly i agree with lewis in the point that this is not the place to start slagging people off especialy lucifer, there is a correct place and thread for that as has been established over i dont know how many weeks. Did I attack Lucifer or did he attack me? Was I "slagged" off first? Read it again. thirdly lucifer is right ffs michael take your thumb out your arse it has naff all to do with you, the thread was not an "i want your opinion on" This is a club, we look out for each other - the issues I raised should have prompted you to provide samples, this was helping you to help him. By posting a thread on a public forum you are open to input from people I'm afraid, this place would be pretty crap if you could only start threads but not reply to them. As for it being nothing to do with me... maybe I'd like to buy some pictures? it was for the infortunate few that turned up to the event i hoped to at least let them get something from it. if it was me i would send the pics for free but its not so im only doing my part. That's good of you. Konio-nt has £15 worth of pics here too: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1306689&postcount=100 im not here to offend anyone but im sick and tired of those who use this forum and club as just a place to sling shit at each other, what ever happend to the sprit of why these places were set up??? For me club spirit isn't charging £5+ for a picture of their own car, club spirit is being grateful people have presented their cars for you and allowed you to take pictures of them, club spirit is making those pictures available to everyone for free just like 99% of other camera-enabled members do. You also confuse constructive criticism with slinging shit, my delivery may be a little blunt for some but like you I have better things to do so can't always be bothered to add fluffy content. I'm not the only one raising concerns with this but I'm happy to act as your virtual punch bag if it helps.
grahamc
Felt I should comment now, since I commented earlier... I have to agree with Michael on this one, although his delivery might be a little "blunt". Unless its a professional photo shoot, where you can see the difference in angles, picture quality, background choice, etc. Why should we pay for pictures of our own cars, that we could take by ourselves. Also have to agree with the pimping for a trader should not be allowed...
MONKEYmark
i agree with michael too.the guy selling the pics is not doing anyone any favours.the pics aint nothing special at all.crap comes to mind. anyman and his dog can press a button on a digital camera. if they were shots that were that good they would sell themselves. there has been plenty of great supra pics on this site. free too
