SupraAyf
Not owned one but the other half wants one so will be interested to read some opinions. Likewise, the missus and I just want a runabout for the odd quick sprint to the shops etc. There are so many small cars available but I just want something that's a bit different:)

Jake
I had to service one of those the other day. One of the spark plugs is a right bastard to get to because the turbo is in the way. You should see the little dolls house turbo though - it's sooo cute!

SupraAyf
we have had a few they are very old school and very different not an over 80-90 mph car Jurgen, why do they hold their value so well as they all seem to float around the £6 to £8K mark for a low mileage H or J-reg? Cheers mate;)

Faye
A mate of mine has got one, my experience is based on driving it from Newcastle to London: * I wouldn't recommend driving it for more than a couple of hours at a time, I found the seating position was great for the average height woman, but not for someone around 5' 9, I ended up in all sorts of contortions * The bonnet flaps above 85 - badly. * It may have a turbo, but they are not quick things, over taking is something that has to be planned well in advance. * It has the tiniest fuel tank so you're constantly feeding the little thing * My mate has just suffered a failed gearbox On the plus side, just about everyone you meet asks you about the car and says it's cute, you even get people waving at you on the motorway. My mate loves her Figaro though, but for me if i was going to spend 5-6k on a runabout I wouldn't want it to be a 15/16 year old car which costs quite a bit to insure. If you're serious this site has a lot of information on them, but the ones for sale are way over priced http://www.autosupplyuk.com/forums/
AndyT
1 litre + turbo. Hmm. 2 litre + turbo in the evo's etc. go above 400 brake. Wonder what can be done with this?
Guest figarojo
I've got one (hubby has the supe). Found mine to be nippy, reliable and so much fun. They are all turbos, 3 speed auto. We had a stand at JAE last year. Not just for women, quite a few blokes belong to the forum. They do only have a small tank (holds about £20 worth) and it's advised to use the higher RON petrol. More and more insurance companies are recognising it now and I've had quotes for £200 a year. They seem to be holding or increasing in value because they are limited numbers (only 20,000 made). A good example can be about 8 or 9K.
razza
my missus also wants one, she even joked that after mentioning figarojo was on here that they should try and take over the supra forum, as if:rolleyes:
edd_t
the place i got my supe from in southend has tons of these. he recently had a 'not so ghey' looking one which was dark red with little 13" alloys!
DamanC
There are hundreds in southend and the surounding area! Its like something from the YMCA Alf..........if you buy one, please take a picture of you driving it
martin_a
Its basically a Micra. Same chassis etc just a different body and the tiny turbo but handles like a Micra (old bubble shaped one) That said mate of my dad has one of the first bubble Micra's and it's now been round the clock twice so not that bad. m.
