No, all supras use the same bolts, but imperial bolts are a lot more common in the states so they used that thread on the smic

TBH its not really hard and i cant see why your making so much fuss, take the SMIC to a local hardware store, or DIY place and just buy some, as paul E said, took him 10 minutes.

Give me 10 minutes and i can get some too.......

If someone can take one to a bolt shop and get a thread pitch and size then we're sorted, everyone can simply ask for that. I have the intercooler fitted unfortunately, otherwise I'd do it - I was too impatient!

Wouldn't mind putting the bolts in for completions sake though, so if anyone does find out could you tell us!

I’m sorry if it came across like I was making a fuss and causing grief for people I was only expressing my opinion and I’m not the only one that couldn’t find any bolts to fit properly and id taken mine everywhere. I said it earlier I am very happy with the SMIC it looks good and probably does its job very well and I think its great that Andy and Miami GT can make replacement SMIC for such a good price it just annoyed me when I stripped the front end of my car down went to fit it and the original bolts didn’t fit, I did take it to quite a few places and couldn’t find the correct bolts so I had to put all my car back together. I then used glue to put some threaded rod in the hole's, it works fine it was just a pain having to do all that and take the car to bits again. It still doesn’t make sense that the thread is different as you said all supras use the same bolts so if the SMIC had an M6 thread you simply use the bolts that are already there whether you live here or in the US it wouldn’t matter and then it is a direct replacement SMIC :) And sorry to keep on but if the bolts are that easy to get why are people finding it so hard to get them and people with them don’t know the size  Also as other people have said if they are that cheap as well surely they could be supplied with the SMIC or even if we were told they were different and had to pay extra for bolts it would be fine but all of us that have had this problem didn’t know and ended up getting stuck. That’s all the problem was.

Again I apologies for offending or annoying anyone, Iv had my say and apologised so I will say no more.

The company that sends them out could get some in 10 minutes too, it would save lots of people a lot of hassle ;)

Agreed, but sombody would need to talk to andy about that eh.

I stripped all my car down too, to find that the bolts didnt fit, but i didnt come on here and winge about it, i sorted it out.

Haydn, didnt andy refund the amount the bolts cost you? or send you some out?

Ric - my anger at this issue receeded due to the fact that andy gave me pre-warning about this with a pm before i fitted the smic.

If i would have stripped my car down to be presented with this problem without info on the bolts, i'd be quite frankly furious...
