Pete
Yep, been there. Caught on at my parents one summer day when it turned into a monsoon. Had a brolly over the car during dinner hoping it would stop. When it did I tried to go home. Two routes were blocked so I went the third and final (long) way. 5 miles in the kitcar was turned into boat as I threw it into a huge puddle. I found that at 40mph the Westy's front tyres throw road water straight up and into the cockpit. Soaking wet despite the screen! Also there's a water trap somewhere around the 'boot' that holds water specifically for the occasion where you're going round a left hander quite fast, releasing the water onto my back about mid apex Not too pleasent in mid-winter Bought a 'roof'. Problem solved

Paul
I've always thought about getting a cheap Gazebo for this sort of thing as it always chucks it down whenever I want to work on the motor outside.
