Yeah, they do one with a filter (a K&N) and the pipe to fit it onto the stock intake to replace the airbox. £140 plus shipping & import duty. Just the shroud is £96 plus shipping & duty http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=213&SearchYN=N http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/merchant/catalogpics/mk4/gary/pic05.jpg Edit - Above photo is copyright so just the link there now. When mine arrives I'll give you the dimensions my friend. Maybe you'd like to make them for the others??? Hobbyist application??
Konrad
When mine arrives I'll give you the dimensions my friend. Maybe you'd like to make them for the others??? Hobbyist application?? That's kind of a good idea to be honest - take dimensions, I will make one and see how much hassle it is with thing like this - if it will be easy enough I will put "How-to" for members
Ric
Uk-rich already has a hobbist membership for making these.
Konrad
Uk-rich already has a hobbist membership for making these. It's allright - i do not want to take someones work, I will do "How-to" if he didn't yet
supra steveo
that's a canny idea i will have to see if the metal smiths section next door can knock me one up or something similar
Kranz
Uk-rich already has a hobbist membership for making these. Does he??? I'll take a peek at his stuff then. Wouldn't want to tread on his toes. Edit - Had a look and he does indeed make something similar, but not boxed in quite the same. Sorry guys, guess there'll be no group buy for these then?? Kranz
that's a canny idea i will have to see if the metal smiths section next door can knock me one up or something similar You should be able to guesstimate the dimensions from the pics in my first post. Rough estimate of materials cost is £20. Good luck & let us know how you get on.

colsoop
So there is young Colin http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=358685 Thats the one, my memory hasn't started failing completely I expect it could be adapted to incorporate your design. I made one to that other design a while back and got vibration rattling issues so maybe a topless box sealed to the bonnet would be better.
