Guest martin169 Posted March 24, 2007 Share Posted March 24, 2007 i have a mk 4 supra 1994. a problem has rescently surfaced that sometimes after normal driving and either waiting at traffic lights or any occasion where the engine is just idling it suddenly looses power as if to stall, then it powers up again to around 1000rpm then settles back to normal idle speed. hope that makes sence. does any one know what might be the cause? has anyone had similar problems? whats the cure? it has just been surviced and had new fuel filters fitted. Guest martin169 Posted March 26, 2007 Share Posted March 26, 2007 it is an auto, 1994 its not the a/c cutting in, the coolant level is ok. it has just been serviced by toyota. on the engine management computer it now says fault no 41 what ever that is. something to do with the ignition. any ideas anyone? Look where your throttle cables meet the inlet manifold, there is a circular black sensor on the opposite site of the plenum with wires going to it. Thats it.
