original_amo Posted March 22, 2007 Author Share Posted March 22, 2007 the colour was very hard to paint as i watched the painter "neil" paint the car. it took over 12 hours to paint as the car,the car was primered then sprayed silver. the peach base coat was almost transparent and took 5 good coats to cover. the top coat "pearl" was transparant and took 7 coats to get the affect. then there was 1 grip coat and 5 wet coats of laquer sprayed with a 30 min gap beetween each layer.
