BST and sundials

Imagine you wanted to go all Victorian in your garden, and install a sundial....and then the clocks go back or forward...

Now obviously BST only came into being in 1916, so Sundials predate it, but doesnt this make them a little bit silly? (aside from the normal level of sillyness of them!)

You would have to move the sundial forward...

Given that it is 1 hour forward, that would equate to moving it approx 1.436 feet to provide the correct time.

Seriously?!

But you would have to move along precise lat/long lines?

And the prize idiot reply of the year goes to......? :D :p
