I'm not getting one at the moment but my friend takes delivery of his on Friday. We plan to have a whole weekend of ps3 as his wife is away.

Can't help but think that he made sure he packed her off for when it was released :D

Yep 32" Samsung Samsung LE32N74BDX.

All I could find in the UK was the 'N73' models and cheapest I could source was £699.99 with most expensive being £999.99

None the less went to 'Costco' American warehouse and picked it up for £499.99!!! bargain considering it's newer model than I could find in the shops :)

Had my PS3 for over a month now :p

Finished Resistance Fall of Man :p and nearly half way (I think) through Ridge Racer :fool:

You must have a HDTV - the graphics are simply stunning and what I've seen of the Blu-ray stuff

Using the wireless controller is  but while you are charging it up you have to have the USB lead plug in, which is very frustrating when some sodding alien is chomping at you :scared: and the only way to release him is to shake the controller - USB lead comes out and you can only watch yourself get eaten....

Have fun on Friday

Not trying to dampen the mood, but isnt the UK spec one a lesser spec than the US/Jap ones....sure I heard that on the news within the last month.

I have a mate who tests games for a living (jammy sod) and he said the PS3 is the best thing since sliced bread and hookers...but you must play it on a HDTV to get the most from it (as mentioned earlier).

Well, Originally I was told that the Jap ones had a lesser spec (no blue ray) and therefore it would be sillly to import one, but someone on here with a contact @ sony (i think) said they did.

However, Im pretty sure it was on a news channel recently that the UK one would be a lesser spec than others. Taking the mickey really since UK customers will no doubt be paying more for less.

Your effort has inspired me, today I've cleaned up the wiring and set up for my 'entertainment' area too :p

See attached photo for the following all set up to run through the 32" LG screen...

1. PC

2. Broadband NowTV tuner

3. Philippines cable tuner

4. DVD/VHS player

5. Playstation 3

6. Playstation 2

I find it hard to leave the sofa now

Thanks for the inspiration, as I've been meaning to do this for some time now
