ManwithSupra
I am getting a wooooing noise when the turbos boost to around .3 to .5 bar when driving normaly. If i accelerate hard it does not happen just its only when when the boost creeps up slowly then you get this wooooooooo sound then at .5 it stops any idea on what this is.... i was thinking induction resonance as its quite loud outside apparanty. I dont think its death whine as it does not happen all the time and doesnt sound like it if you know what i mean.
VIL
Hi Richard This seems to be a growing question without any answers???? You have now joined a select group of owners with the same problem, but so far I dont think anyone has worked out what is causing it. I posted about this ages ago and mine has been doing it on and off for about a year, plus recently there has been another thread about exactly the same problems, see below: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=47994 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=102950 Its a mystery!!!! AlanM
Would think it is resonance of some description, where it is initiated is difficult to tell
Ric
i had this, as mentioned in other threads, it was the stock bov which had failed or leaking. change it for a new one or aftermarket and i was sorted, not had it since

spidermonkey
On my old integrale i had this, kinda sounded like a small owl, turned out to be the BOV was knackered, maybe you could try a different BOV and see if this still happens

Thorin
Now f*** off out of technical, Mike -Ian Have we established that it isn't an owl yet? I feel my contributions are valid.
RedM
Knackered BOV. Doesn't one of the linked threads mention that the BOV was replaced to no avail? Oh look: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1310230&postcount=

Ewen
I asked this back in '05. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=46909 At least you got a nice Owl picture. I still get this every now and again....if it is the stock bov, is it doing any harm ?
VIL
I dont think its the BOV I replaced mine and it made no difference. Unless the second BOV I put on was also knackered but that would be an amazing coincidence.
