MaveriK
If Lampard/Gerrard/Lennon or anyone other than Ronaldo had had the kind of season there would be no doubt about player of the season but it has no become a two horse race, Drogba and Ronaldo. The thread was not started to get a reaction, it got one from some of the comments made by others, end of. I guess we are all entitled to our opinions, mine is that he is a more exciting footballer to watch that any other in the premiership, the fool comment slipped out due to the result and the falling down juice. MaveriK
Well I've just seen the post match interviews on SkySports News and it seemed to me that Shreeves was just as provocative to Gareth Southgate as anyone. But then I'm not a biased supporter of either of the teams involved Its why the game is what it is, this whole/hole thread if it were made face to face would be would be jest after the match and i doubt an ill feeling would be taken home. Player of the Season? Who votes for this? Ronaldo will easily win it. The thread was not started to get a reaction, it got one from some of the comments made by others, end of. End of? What does that actually mean? It's like when a child says "whatever", isn't it? I guess we are all entitled to our opinions, mine is that he is a more exciting footballer to watch that any other in the premiership, the fool comment slipped out due to the result and the falling down juice. He is exciting and a good player - nobody is saying other wise. ivan
I don't really follow football and certainly don't have any preference of clubs. But I hate that Ronaldo cock vehemently. I sat through "that game" last year - while I was on holiday in Portugal...

dangerous brain
OOO this looks interesting. I also don't like football much. I only watch international games and only if they are interesting ones. I prefer rugby myself (less pansying around and the cheating is more brutal). I have to say though the general attitude of most foreign players is piss poor and that there ronaldo blokey is a figure head for the lot of them. Maybe its part of the game to head butt your opponent in a freindly way before the game and constantly rag his ass over the game to get him to lose his temper. Maybe its part of the game to throw yourself into a huge body surf down the pitch in order to secure a vital penalty to win the match, then again maybe thats why I can't be arsed to waste 90 minutes of my life watching that shite. Problem is rugbies heading in that direction as well now since it went proffesional bah humbug bring back fair play.

Lukeyboy2k
Here's my opinion. Firstly, it wasn't a penalty - but I can see why it was given (angles, distance, home team at old trafford). Secondly, on this occasion I don't think he actually dived. Thirdly, Ronaldo is a great player, but unfortunately his reputation of being a cheat will always precede him. Finally, no matter how you look at it Ronaldo is a cock.

mikeyb10supra
LMAO at that jake I agree about Robben i can't stand him, at least ronaldo is a decent player when he stays on his feet. Drogba is worse by far

Charlotte
I like Ronaldo's play. He has brought some exciting stuff to watch this season. (Oh and won me some good points on the fantasy league). It doesn't matter how you look at it though, if he gets an opportunity to dive, he does. I have to say I did have a snigger at James Morrison sticking the final boot in, go on son! I have to say I did have a snigger at James Morrison sticking the final boot in, go on son! i replayed that several times on Sky+ just to enjoy it again & again there must have been 20 other players on the pitch who would love to do that at least once his little riverdance when they were running the clock down at the end and the same in their Europe XI game last week was embarassing to watch. cock, end of.
