Havard
As the title says. On Wednesday the forum will have to deal with my absence for around 5 days!! I am off to Las vegas with work. My company do the trip every year with about 36 clients and it an all expenses paid excuse to get bladdered and fall over. Can anyone give me some advice of good things to do over there. I have been told to go and see the fountains outside the Belagio Hotel and also visit the Stratosphere bar. Your advice would be greatly appreciated as I am in charge of some blokes and I have to show them a good time! (Not in that way obviously!) H. Fish
I had a working holiday weekend trip late last year. You really don't need any pointers mate - its literally all 'in your face' I've never been any where quite like it. You'll have a great time. RedM
Oh, you'll have a blast. It's really tacky there but in a good way. Last time I was there I won $20k playing Blackjack and got some dodgy looks from blokes in suits. Even better though was what happened to my mate. He thinks he's really good looking and all that and, to be fair, he is. So, he's gving it all that to this gorgeous woman who has latched onto him. He keeps coming over telling me how hot she is, how she's all over him etc. and how he's going to take her to his room. He does and she asks for cash upfront. Laugh? I nearly passed out. :D

Nick
I went there for a stag party, great laugh if not very cheesy but I was either drunk, hungover or jet lagged for 5 days ! Watch out for those Mexican pimps... There's quite a cool pub in the Monte Carlo, you can get 3 litre (I think) tubes of beer. You ears will be ringing from the slot machines by the time you come to leave.

I nearly passed out. :D I am led to believe that the place is full of "rentals", being a good lad I won't be partaking in such entertainment but it's good to know. I have heard stories about guys waking up in the morning and all their possesions have disappeared as well as the new love of your life!! Harvard, What hotel are you staying in? We are staying at the Monte Carlo as luck would have it!! H.
Jspec Germany
I've spent over 6 months in Vegas. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino middle bar... can't recommend it enough. Go see the inside of the Luxor hotel (pyramid looking hotel with giant light on top that can be seen from space). If you're going to gamble, take the noobs to the old Vegas strip or out to Boulder highway resort hotels to learn. It's cheaper there. Eat at the newer hotels' buffets. Monte Carlo is nice, but there are newer hotels as well. If you're going to watch creative dance, check out Cheetahs, Crazy Horse II, and Little Darlins. Great U.K. pub on Tropicana if you start to miss home: Crown and Anchor Pub. 1350 E Tropicana Ave (Cross Street: South Maryland Pkwy) Las Vegas, NV 89122View Map (702) 739-8676. Go see the Hoover Dam and stand on four corners - place where four states connect. Rent a rediculous car - Viper is most popular. Get a limo and drive up and down the strip drunk hanging out the sunroof(s). Take a helicopter ride over Lake Meade, Hoover Dam, and the strip. Go drive golf balls at the Callaway Golf Academy. It's on the south side of the strip at the end of the airport runway. Nite time, there's Studio 54, House of Blues, Club RA, Rain, The Beach, Rumjungle, and many other cool places to go. Have fun! RobDogg
I booked my Vegas trip last friday. We are going on the 20th June for the Ricky Hatton fight. We just hope we can get a ticket for the fight when they are released on the 2nd April. We are staying at Treasure Island. I can't wait. I just need to win enough money in the casino's to get an Aerotop TT when I get back! Fingers crossed.

lust2luv
Go see the Hoover Dam and stand on four corners - place where four states connect. Bit of a drive to Four Corners mate - it's clear across Arizona! GM: The Drive (behind the Sahara) is cool, if you want to drive Hummers "off-road" for cheap ($20) - you do need to pass a breathalyser test though. Valley of Fire is a very cool place to drive in the desert if you do hire a car. You can do Hoover Dam, up through Lake Mead recreational area to the Valley of Fire and back down the interstate. Havard
Woohoo!! I am back................ I have been home for about an hour. Had 1 hours sleep in the last 48. Got Jet Lag and have a wee bit of a tan.!! That place is wonderful though. It's a bit mad too, 24 hours boozing and gambling.... Lots of fatties! All you can eat breakfasts with chinese and pizza, steaks...WTF??? Huge buildings......I'll post up some pictures but I basically went on the equivalent of the Playstation ride at Blackpool on the top of a 1100 ft building..... Made me ill tbh. Consumed stupid amounts of beer and came back $100 from the one flutter I did have!! Nice to be back H.
