stupra
Very good, great story of some heroic men. They never see themselves as hero's do they ?. All the old boys I know, or i've spoken to are like that, they just say "well, it was what we had to do, so we did it". They are hero's, all of them. Jake
I saw this as well. Can't believe I'd never heard of it before. 600+ incredibly brave guys there, shame it was such a half-arsed plan and almost certain death for most of them. I can't imagine what it must be like to head off on a mission like that knowing that you most likely weren't coming back. Thank God for men like that, true heroes. Guigsy
indeed. a great program and a great story. i love clarson presenting things like this. Guigsy
Did you see his "inventions that changed the world" series? I have an.. um... aquired copy of the series and have watched it over and over. Its very similar. He manages to tell the story keep it interesting as well as being enthusiastic about something as dull as the invention of the telephone. Top notch I take it this program isnt a series is it?
