Ryan.G Posted March 18, 2007 Share Posted March 18, 2007 Anybody tried one of these or is the good old det cans the best for listening to knock on a supra Had good results on a mr2 with det cans but not sure if the 2jzgte engines are noisey at high rpm to hear det. Its always better to put the mic on the intake side for sure I have used the same B&Q method, Knock Link and proper amplified setups. The best by far is the amplified setup, everything is louder and clearer which is needed on a single motor, you can also use big cupped headphones to help reduce outside noise.
