JamesG
Since you've already done Japanese, how about something different like an Alfa 147?
Guest Geneb
Dont know anything about them, are they as reliable and quick?
silvershark44
I wouldnt say reliable, well not supra reliable anyway. Get an RX7 - a decent one. thats what i would do
Guest StevenSheen
if you get a 147 GTA there rapid things but not as fast as a Supe TT. People will tell you there unreliable but having owned many alfas including a 155 2.0TS, 156 2.0TS and a 166 3.0 Lusso, along with several cracking Lancias I can say they never missed a beat and they are full of passion...eventually I always go back to an Alfa...if your a driving man there hard to beat...my 3.0 BMW lacked any kind of soul. RedM
Skyline GTS.
Guest StevenSheen
Skyline GTR would be nice but I think the GTS is too slow and I had a nightmare getting one insured despite the fact there slower then the Supe
fishman
ive heard loads of rumours that alfas are unreliable, thats most probs about the old ones tho, so i suppose youll be alrite with the newer ones. The 147 gta is quite rapid
Kip
147 cloverleaf or what ever its called - Clarckson loved it - 200+ horses and front wheel drive from a mental V6! doubt you would get one for 10k though. How about an RX7 - sexy looking machines and go pretty well.

Guest StevenSheen
I would love one of those holdens good old muscle car, and as there basically a vauxhall monaro you know there great cars (at least according to the top gear gang)
Guest StevenSheen
get a nice 94/95 model M5 there great fun
Millsy
Yeah, M5 would be good - or an Audi RS4 if you can pick and old one up for the money.
Mas
how about a supra ?
Guest StevenSheen
Yeah, M5 would be good - or an Audi RS4 if you can pick and old one up for the money. Dont think you would get an RS4 thats worth having and the old 4 wheel drive system could drive a man to suicide if it goes wrong!!! Plus Audi have only just caught up with BMW with regards driving feel and fun factor the new RS4 is a beut in droptop form though If you really must have a 2 door get a 95ish year BMW M3 Evolution a touch under 300bhp but seats 4 in reasonable comfort, is and will remain a classic and reliable as a tractor
merckx
I would go for a newer car, a Honda S2000.
blitz supra
Skyline GTS. Thats what i have just got to replace the Supra ... Great fun and comfortable and practical TBH the GTS is more fun than a GTR as will most Skyline owners agree as they are RWD and lighter than the GTR ,Ok the GTR is the pinical and better car but for fun and general day to day use you won't go wrong with a GTS , Fuel mpg is shit though compared to my Supra NA it replaced, And for small £££ lay out 300+ bhp eaily obtained i have loads of friends who have Skyline GTR's and they all really rate the GTS as a great package A decent one though circa 1997 Series 2 with 40k odd mles you are looking around £7k ish £4k - £5k BUYS A SHITTER ... And boy there are loads out there. If you fancy a Skyline pm me my mate is a specialist and will source you a car and upgrade it to your spec currently he has about 15 in stock

blitz supra
Or what about a Mazda RX8 (Our 2nd car) we bought a brand new one then 18mths later bought another one , Absolutley brilliant car !!! all the bullshit about them is tosh from people who read to many mags and don't own one.. Her next car will be either yep you guessed it another RX8 or a Skyline GT350 which i'll get my mate to import direct for me 2005 -2006 model circa 5k miles for about £18k delivered and converted to UK spec (not bad for a £30k car) One thing to remember with the Rex though is 17 - 24mpg and uses a little oil and only buy the 231bhp (Acutally 245bhp) forget the 190bhp model although that has more torque , that Rotary howl at 9500rpm is amazing Forget RX7's 8mpg average and you need very very very deep pockets !!! a few friends have them and they aren't used as every day cars
