jazz1
i made a transaction to nic a couple of days ago and i receive a call today from halifax stating the account number is wrong and the transaction was incomplete. Anyways they said they would refund the money and there will be a charge of 40 pounds aswell the loss of 17 pounds which i paid them for the transaction. Anyways when i got home and checked just now on the statement the account number i gave the lady over the phone was completly wrong to the account number nic provided, and i double confirmed it with her at the time of the conversation, they are so stupid, im going to make a complain tommorow and get this sorted:Pling:

ivan
the account number i gave the lady over the phone was completly wrong to the account number nic providedSee if you can't rephrase that before going in with guns blazing. That makes it sound like YOU got the number wrong when giving it. Tell them that the account number they quoted was not the number you gave the lady on the phone. If you can remember the date and time of the call, ask them to dig out the recording which they more than likely have. Even if you can't remember those details give them the number you called from - they can still get the call from that.
