Todd
My neighbour is heading off on holidays for a month to Oz and he's asked me to sell his old beemer whilst he's away. Metallic Black 6 month tax 4 month MOT hes owned it from new 133k full bmw service history 4 door fog lights alloys Factory alarm, all the keys from new. and all the other normal stuff you get with a beemer I fired it up and the engine is sweet as a nut, not a spot of oil on the garage floor. Also taken it for a run and it runs and handles great, puts my motor to shame The only problems with it are ABS light on (wasn't on when car went in garage 2 months ago, tonight was the first time he'd taken it out and it was on!) Rust starting on front wing at the arch and rust at the rear arch on one side, drivers side is the worst. It's not major rust but worth mentioning. Heater switch only works on full, common fault and part is about £20. Comes with Haynes manual - all the handbooks and brouchures from new, the invoice from new....all there. Full stamped up BMW service book on it's way from Dunedin BMW Edinburgh, will be here next week. Please note that the number plate will not come with the car, I'm waiting on the retention paperwork coming through. Open to serious offers but this is priced for a quick sale. Photos showing all the rust spots and so on can be found here http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/todd69/325%20se/

Todd
If I didn't have the 2 cars already I'd keep it myself. He works away abroad for 3 months and it just sits in his garage, he then uses it for a few weeks running about then it goes away again. The engine in these motors is fantastic and if it was a 2 door I would defo keep it

carl0s
We were pretty chuffed at the 1994 318i we bought for £750, but a six cyl 325i would've been so much nicer. Is 1992 an E36 shape?

edge
Bargain. I learnt to drive properly in one of these. I think i spent most of the time facing the wrong way on roundabouts after practising my drifting techniques. Then i grew up.
JustGav
The E36 is an awesome car, chances are it MAY have the M50 engine which is lovely.. (Only down side with the m50 is if the vanos goes...) Our family had an L-reg E36 for MANY years, going between my dad, my mom and myself. It was driven round Southern Africa, and then driven around the UK when we finally sold it for £1500. It had 220 000km on it, it had plenty to go in it. Only thing I had to change on it, was a thermostat to deal with the slightly colder weather. One important thing which BMW always drilled into us when I worked for them, is to do regular oil changes, and the engines are good for 250 000 miles. And another unknown fact, is that ALL e36 RHD 3 series are made in Rosslyn in South Africa, and the plant at the time was awesome.

The 6 cyl is a much smoother much nicer engine TBH, the 4 cyl was an after thought.

RedM
On EBay its starting at £750 Yes but it's worded as 'priced for a quick sale'. Like most people these days no doubt holding out for someone to pay over what the owner wants.

Like most people these days no doubt holding out for someone to pay over what the owner wants. Why thank you for your concern but don't go tarring me with your brush, twat Car was offered on here for £750 if anyone was interested, on pistonheads for £1200 and hope to get that on ebay. Someone due along here at 15:00 and that's what they've been told I want. This is NOT my car and I've been told the lowest the car was to be sold for and was going to let it go for that on here to a fellow member, you know in the interests of club sprirt, helping another club member out. Shame folk like RedM feel the need to make posts like that If you have anything to say about my character then please PM me instead of littering my for sale thread. Thank You.
