Kitt
I have just blown £850 on an RSR GTII and full de-CAT pipes for my beloved NA ( not that the girlfriend knows how much it all costs ! ). Can anyone offer any advice on the following :- 1. How easy will this be to fit - any top tips / advice to give to my local garage ? 2. Is there anything else I need to be aware of going "CAT-free" apart from the obvious omissions issue ? 3. Anyone got any idea of the BHP gains ? ( I have been told roughly 15 BHP extra ? ) Regards and can't wait to annoy the neighbours !
Nick_TC
I doubt you'll see 15bhp extra, probably more like 5bhp. £850?? christ you must have money to burn......... No special fitting instructions, and nothing to be aware of, as you know about the higher emissions, only thing would be the size of the de-cats, as too big and your move any power the N/A has right to the top of the rev range
Kitt
Thanks Nick, the de-cat pipes are 2.5" so shouldn't be any problems on a NA.
