Guest StevenSheen
Well my Supra is finally all sorted, just the brake pads left to sort so thought I would stick up some before and after pics for U so you can tell me what you think...and yes I know loads of you dislike the V-Side stuff, I kinda like its in your face style... On the outside I removed the hideous (prob replica) Boomex widemouth bumper and replaced it with the Veilside C2 bumper, I then replaced the yellowed jap lights with some nice new UK ones from Envy. I had the calipers painted and Supra decals applied to them. All crappy "Topfuel" Decals were removed from the bodywork and windows. The carbon blade in the rear spoiler had suffered severe sun discolouration so that was recoated in black to freshen it up, finally for some reason the car had 2 number plates on the rear a large square one with a normal uk rear plate stuck over it which looked scruffy...upon removing them I discovered that the bumper actually has a square cut out of it for some reason. I therefore decided to paint the reverse side of the large plate that had been on it prior with black paint and stick that on as backing for the new smaller plate, I think it looks quite nice now actually. As for the inside, it largely just needed a little TLC. I got the alloy style dash kit, cleaned everything up and tightened and replaced the screws, got a nice set of supra mats, and replaced the standard (quite nasty) handbrake cover. Would like to get the seats retrimmed in leather as well, Supradibbs seems to be the favourite option for doing that so far. Under the bonnet she needed lots of TLC and still does to be honest, I gave everything as much of a cleaning as I could and replaced the radiator which made things a little tidier, gonna let turbofit have a look at the hoses etc and replace where needed, this is an area I will still have to improve. Take a look at the before and afters...she is finally starting to make me smile! This is the old girl prior to her much needed facelift. Guest StevenSheen
The dash was an actual kit...got it from ebay, was about £120.00 took an age to deliver though! LOL I knew the we hate Veilside gang would ave a go at it lol in all honesty though that Boomex thing that was on it was made out of tinfoil, piece of rubbish. The rear wing leaves me undecided....I may change that in the future for a TRD one, but not too fused at the mo, im in a love hate situation with it depending on what angle I look at it from

I dont know it was on there when I got it, I doubt it was though, I know Boomex are excellent items but that one was a piece of junk, all bendy and cheap feeling, the V-side one I put on is very solid and well made. And thanks Mike, I was out there cleaning it for 4 hours this morning lol!

Thanks mate, the headlights are just UK spec glass headlights, the pre face lift ones, I dont really liked the smoked ones on silver cars. Got them from Envy but they were £350.00... Havard
Mr Sheen!! Would it be really cheeky to ask how much this whole experience has cost you from start to finish?? I think your car looks great but I can't help but feel that your introduction to Supra ownership has been a tad expensive. A simple "no" would be acceptable as I am being nosey!! H.
