They could have just pressed the "Down" button :D

 

FLIPPIN' 'ECK THE BARSTEWARDS HAVE BEEN THRASHING MY BATMOBILE ALL OF 25 MILES!!!

 

It was the speed activation they wanted to check. And they were courteous enough to ring that they were taking the Supe for a jolly good thrash. :)
