thanks guys, TBH as Matt is fitting it for me he already suggested the glove box and the centre console, my first thought was the roof behind the roof light but I know its not easy to read it up there!!!

 

got any pics of yours in the glove box Michael?

no mate, not a smoker ;) but TBH dont want to touch the interior/dash bits now that all colour coded

 

I don't think so, will try to get some.

I've never seen one nicely fitting into the dash, they're just too bulky for it to go most places. The headlining both looks and works great. One of the local guys has a SAFC2 and AVCR mounted there and the positioning is surprisingly good from the drivers seat. Also keeps them out of the way of prying eyes.

I had mine in the centre console, nice and tidy and out the way. That was until it lost it's settings again and I lost my patience and had it removed.

 

You don't need to see it, not unless you like looking at all those digits and dials. They always look naff mounted on the dash IMO.
