Anyone else got magical instrumentation lights?

That spontaneously fix themselves? Since I have had the car (about 15 months now) I have had 3 different lights start working that didn't to start with.

First I noticed that the "put your seatbelt on" light started to work and light up if I hadn't put my seatbelt on yet.

Next, one night while driving home I noticed a glare coming from below and looked down to see the lights next to the gear leaver had lit up (I have an auto). These only stayed on for a few seconds initially but on a later journey came back on again and have worked ever since.

Lastly, the little hazard-lights warning triangle in the middle of that button has started to work. This one keeps catching my eye as I sometimes forget it's now working and worry there is a red error light showing!

So, a car that slowly fixes itself - fantastic!

Now if only the green headlight light would work I think I would have a complete set!

My Imobilser blinking led thingie stopped flashing last week. I took the dash apart, checked the cables, looked at the light and it was working. So slapped it all together again. A few days later i look and the bloody thing has stopped again. Ended up rewiring the thing. Fingers crossed it has been fine ....... so far.

Not quite the same but My oil/abs lights didnt work. Thought it was the bulbs but further investigation proved wrong. Then the next sign was a broken wire as they flikered on/off when i held the connecter. Turned out to be dry joints on the track where the connector is on the light unit. Joints remade and perfect ever after.

The Green headlight light..........we have one of those??

I was thinking that! Is there a blue light for the full beam lights? I'm not aware of having one myself... I also didn't know that the warning triangle has an LED behind it. I'll have to double check to see if that's working now!

Yeah the hazard light switch is lit up when you turn the lights on...and I'm pretty sure there is a light on the dash for full beam :)

I need to get digging round the fuse box then methinks! The LED on my Clifford stopped a couple of weeks back too :(

There is a light icon for driving lights/or full beam on mine. I thought it might be an MOT requirement though!

I'll have a look into that then. The only interior light I'm aware of that's included in the MOT is the ABS light which works fine (so far...)
