But i had a realy powerful and fast nova 1.0 merit when i passed my test. A grand TPTF 6 years ago. creative
Cinq Sporting in black. 1.1ltr Cost me £5.5k drove it for 12 months and sold it for £5.5k! only ever did services in that time so cheap happy motoring! it was one of the few with a fabric roof rather than a sunroof so helped retain its value. It was then a saxo westcoast. Couldnt get insured on a VTR at that time so went for the 1.4. was basically a vtr with a 1.4 engine in it. Running gear was the same, brakes, even the ecu was a vtr job. It was one of the first in the country so it was an unmolested by the safety nerds version. great fun for 6 months till I parked it in a field! Damn lift off oversteer! Insurance replaced it with another brand new one and I could instantly tell the difference. Had its 1k mile service and told the garage what citroen had done to dumb it down, just from driving the two versions, I was correct as well!! then chopped that in for my current car started off as a 1.8 4pot and I decided to put this into it. a straight 6, 2.0ltr M50 engine as I was told it would cost to much to do.... £250 later including everything you see there it was in and running.... stuff you knowitalls!! then that brings me to the supra hunt!! only ever had 4 cars in my drivng life.... tbourner
I think I had 6 in my Metro once, bouncing down the A27 at 83mph with my mini-disc to tape converter on the go, one bloke in the footwell, 4 in the back! Those were the days!! Also drove along the beach with 3 people sitting on the roof once, ran one of the over when I stopped! He was alright though, got up and hobbled off laughing.
