Hi people...thinking of replacing stock injectors with a SARD 800cc to go into a stock fuel rail.....

I dont know, but somebody told me that, this wont be a good idea, and that I should get aftermarket fuel rail (HKS,GREEDY) as this will work better, with a bosh 044 fuel pump, than just swapping standards with a SARD 800cc....any suggestions?..

A bit more info would have been good.

Why are you thinking of doing this?

What other mods do you have or have planned?

The person that told you it wouldn't be a good idea, didn't they tell you why?

It's GReddy not Greedy

I have 800cc Power Enterprise injectors (side feed, high imp) in the stock rail. They work fine. But then I only have a small single turbo (PHR1) so smaller injectors, say 650cc, would have been ok for my setup.

thanks for a reply dude...Yeah I originaly wana upgrade to a GReddy T78 or something that size so I think bigger injectiors and a fuel pump be the way to go...as the person telling me that this shouldnt be the way 2 to go, his way of thinking was as he knows my goal will be around 850-900 rwhp I should do everything aftermarket parts, as standard parts are not that good for that much power....anyway, should I go for a fuel rail or keep the original and bolt 800cc SARDs on it??????....

cheers

850-900 rwhp?

That is going to need more than a T78 and bigger injectors than 800cc. You'll need a fully rebuilt engine to handle that power and a complete custom fuel system.

yeah dude...thats the reason I try to ask few questions, and with a little luck and a bag full of $ we get there...[GRIN][/GRIN]
