NA decat pipes - both or just 1 ?

I have a RSR waiting for delivery from Paul E and I was also thinking of getting the decat pipes for my J-Spec NA.

If I were only to replace 1 CAT which would be the best in terms of performance, or would it make no difference as there's still 1 CAT left restricting the power ?

On an N/A it's pointless just removing one cat, you NEED to get rid of both, and even then the power gain is modest compared to a similar conversion on a twin turbo. Just being honest, and I sell N/A pipes... There is still a worthwhile power gain, especially with a none restrictive exhaust behind them. DON'T change the air box though, that is a sure way to drop power on the N/A

Interested to hear the result of that test.

What type of induction kit will you use, and is that on a N/A car

I did consider an Apexi induction kit but opted for an Apexi standard filter element in the end.
