Guest Borsta
Bought myself a Supra this summer and exported it to Sweden. Sadly I´ve come upon some problems now. First off the former owner didn´t send the V5 export paper to DVLA and now when trying to registrate the car in Sweden they ask for a more detailed spec. sheet on the car. So, do any of you know where I can find a more detialed spec. sheet connected to my vin number? Anyone have a good contact at Toyota in England? All help is greatly appreciated Cheers Daniel
Aerotop Dave
I'm trying to think what's on the V5 document that you couldn't work out. What specific info do you need? Obviously the chassis plate and engine number will be on the car. Colour, number of doors, etc, you can work out, so that would leave... what? 'Date first registered' would be the only potentially tricky one. I assume you don't have the address of the person you bought it off to persuade them to send the form off? (seeing as it's illegal not to).
SimonB
If you look on www.mkiv.co.nz under specs it lists the approx dates of manufacture for ranges of chassis number (only applies to J specs).
Guest Borsta
Well basically I need someone at Toyota to issue a certificate on the car with specs like curb weight, chassis plate, displacement, measurements etc. So, do anyone know someone at Toyota that I can get in touch with in England.
