Jake
What do you mean by 'air intake'? They were all made with two air-feeds into the single airfilter box
R Black
I've seen a couple of big twins with two air intakes, but by a couple i really mean 2, there is generally only one

go4longer
arr i see so if you upgrade the turbos you need to upgrade the air flow too them ie individual intakes (would i be right in my thinking)

Homer
arr i see so if you upgrade the turbos you need to upgrade the air flow too them ie individual intakes (would i be right in my thinking) Changing the turbo's over to a "big twin" system is a massive upgrade (£8k+), everything (and I really mean everything) on that side of the engine is changed. Its a fundamentally different system to the stock TT. Very, very few people go for a big twin upgrade, most go for a single turbo, its cheaper and will in general be more suited to road use. Class One
No. not unless you have a friendly tester. You'll need at least one of the cats left in/replaced to pass.

My car passed the emissions test with no cats in but i think i was very lucky. A new o2 sensor and clean air filter will also help.
