DannyW
I want to remove my rear spoiler to clean underneath as i'm a bit of a perfectionist. Is there any sealant or anything under the spoiler? or is it a simple case of unbolting it?
Steviekid
Is there any sealant or anything under the spoiler? Nope. Unclip the plastic cover (carefully!) then just take the four bolts out.

Steviekid
how does this cover unclip? You've got to try and lever it (with a screwdriver or your hand) as close as possible to the clips to try to avoid bending it. It takes a bit of pressure but they will pop out! supra steveo
where are the clips situated ? cheers for the fast reply BTW
Steviekid
where are the clips situated ? I can't really remember offhand but there's quite a few of them. I think there's a couple either side then they follow along the edge near the window. Once you've got a couple off you should be able to get your hand in and feel where they are. uk-rich
yes there is 2 locating pins, a sharp upwards hit with the palm of your hand will take care of them

supra steveo
right just an update got the bolt out and ive replaced the bolts with M6 bolts now so instead of using a socket to get the buggers out i use an allen key so that should be easier the next time i take it off to clean or replace with a TRD wing ( he say winking at the wife ) and ive just been told not to push my luck as she is letting me get my bomex front
