Guest Enola Gay
Just got car and want to take the wheels off. No tool/socket etc with car (import) to take off what looks like a cover secured with a 65mm alloy(?) nut - see pic. Is this a cover and where can I get 'tool' to remove? I presume underneath is normal 5 bolt set up?
AlanM
Looks like the TSW size, if you can't get a spanner (they were plastic and useless anyway) just knock the nut with a block of wood and a hammer
Guest Enola Gay
It does sat TSW in the middle. Is it normal five bolt underneath?
AlanM
Yep, you will find as soon as you move the nut a mm or 2 it will be loose
Guest Enola Gay
Just tried wood and hammer - its not having it. Looks like drive to my mate who is an engineer and likely to have a socket or something. Thanks for info...
AlanM
If you don't get it I will go and search garage as I had a couple of them at one stage

Ibrar Jabbar
Use a pipe wrench to undo it, make sure to cover the cap nut with with a few layers of masking tape first so you don't scratch it, it should undo with a sharp shock.
