Ideal, this is what we are looking to do. Is the atlantis expensive as it is not all inclusive?
Gary
I remember the Atlantis to be fairly expensive, nice but expensive as its not all inclusive. My cousin got married on the beach there about 8 years ago and we had a brilliant time, found it very americanised compared to the more laid back caribbean islands such as antigua, barbados, st lucia, tobago etc Down to personal preference really. I love the all inclusive hotels in the caribbean as they usually include watersports like windsurfing, sailing, still have to pay for the jet skis tho but worth it
sdavies
Atlantis on Paradise Island is an awesome place. Stayed in the Royal towers (got bumped to a suite too for some reason - wasn't arguing). Food and drink is very expensive there as they have to import absolutely everything (well that was the excuse ). Nassau was interesting. Lots to do there, went on a speed boat trip to Saddle Back Cay which was way cool, snorkeling off a reef and feeding the sharks (from a safe place ). Picture perfect unspoilt epmty beaches to gorp at - and a walk across a sand bar in the middle of the ocean - which is quite freaky. Big casino there (if that is your bag). If you do visit the Casino, go to Apollo bar and ask for a Jackpot Burger Interesting massive aquarium place there (one part of it they call the Dig). Regular feedings of the various sea creatures around the park. Predator lagoon and the big water slide of note Check it out on google earth, tons of peoples photos uploaded around that spot (some my other half put there). RIJ8631
Stayed at the Radisson Cable Beach a few years back also, when we arrived at the hotel they were overbooked. But they put us up at the Atlantis for a couple of nights, paid all the transfers, food, drink etc, upgraded us to a suite on our return to the Radisson - and believe it or not but actually refunded us the 2 nights board - thats what I call service. A must do - is to swim with the dolphins @ Blue Lagoon Island - brilliant experience. Scenic wise - Bermuda is much nicer cheers Ian
