You may wanna get rid of that flare while your there mate. You can be done for a firearm i belive. Think it was MK47 who was on the news about being stopped with one of those in the car :)

Flare is gone already, lost it somewhere. :D

Your stock ECU is still in place, its the large unit on the right.

FCON Pro V is a full replacement ECU which is gold coloured. HKS FCON S is also a fuel computer but it looks like a piggy back setup from the pic.

Looks like the one I had on with a faulty mapping that pretty much blew the car up - faulty injector anyway.

helpful Greg.

Assuming it's not the very same fcon that blew up your engine could you confirm that it is indeed an fcon S?

Alright smart arse! :p Just saying that poorly mapped they're lethal as this fried a piston and the car to have a new engine.

I believe that is indeed the F-Con S. Mine was simply an F-con V Fuel and Ignition Timing model as attached.

much better :D

although i think the 'poorly mapped they're lethal' could apply to any aftermarket ECU or ignition / timing / fueling aid. :)

True. But I believe the previous owner probably tried to map this himself somehow! He was a tit. If I ever meet him again, he's going to get a kicking.

although not surprising given the amount of cash you've had to spend sorting it.

have you dynoed car recently if so what did u make on rollers?? this bit of kit is only good for bpu mods imho and it wil be ok on your spec

Got dyno'd at dastek mate, it made 371.3bhp - 340bhp at the wheels, with 356.3lbs of torque at 1 bar, dunno why it didnt boost at 1.2 bar, as i setup the Boost controller to run 1.2, Mmmm!
