Anyone Watch F1?

I am a big Kimi fan, and now that the 2 baddies have left Ferrari, I think thats the team I am shouting for this season.

Looking forward to May 13th, bought tickets already for Spain.

Have put my money on Heikki Kovalainen to win drivers title, a talented rookie, in last years winning car, with a clueless teammate, and I got 17/1 on him.

Roll on next Sunday.

Really looking forward to this years racing, should be good with raikkonen having a reliable car now. I really loved F1 when irvine was in the ferrari was gutted when he lost out on the title in 99, he brought the fun factor to racing and it made him a seriously rich guy

Not once have I said that my statement was based 100% on his antics all drivers are dirty it is part of the sport but Schumi done with an arrogance, so climb off your high horse.

I think Senna was the greatest and would still have been the greatest if that sad day did not happen, with the increase in technology in F1 and less driver skill required (and yes I know it requires a lot of skill too) Senna would have been the best untill he retired and Schumi who I believe would have been a champion but not as many times.

Hey man i wasn't on my high horse....sorry if it sounded like i was, i was just asking why you siad you didn't like Schumi cos of his antics but yet you like Senna, and as far as who was the best, well i guess thats something we will never know now, the reason i say Schumi is because in 1994 all the races up untill Senna's death were won by Michael despite Senna having a car that was a proven almost a second a lap faster than the Benetton.

But anyway, everyone has there fave and mine was Schumi and to anyone who thinks he was a arrogant, just have a look what he does for Charity and Road safety, also i've met him in real life and he is in no way arrogant one bit...a very nice guy in fact, i have to admit though he does sometimes look very arrogant, but i never judge a book by the cover :)

I cant wait for Aus....Go Massa/Kimi/Ferrari..let the post Schumacher era begin... im backing Massa for world champ 07, so far in all the practice's He's been the man to beat and Ferrari clearly have a 3 tenth per lap Boost over next placed Mclaren...Should be interesting :D

Im supporting Kimi & Massa because they both drive for my beloved Scuderia (i think Massa has the edge at the mo looking at the lap times so far but hey its a long season) :)

Oh and....

Are you joking??:D those 2 "baddies"... Ross and Michael WERE Ferrari...:(

Rubbish! What made Ferrari was the team, there is no I in teamwork they had one of the best TEAMS in the paddock.

As previously said more and more F1 is a mechanical/technology sport. I would say 85% of it is down to the TEAM and the rest down to the driver with technology the way it is in F1 today.

Mike Gascoigne was a hell of a lot better than Brawn (although I am a brawn fan) it's just a shame toyota did not allow him to do his job properly.

I know it was more than just Michael and Ross Brawn at Ferrari, what i meant was it was down to Michael and Ross that Ferrari had such sucsess, Ferrari were nowhere when Michael joined and when he left Benetton to join Ferrari he persuaded all his mechanics and engineers and all the key people from the Benetton team to go with him, He and Ross put the team together and both played the biggest part in getting Ferrari back to the top and there for to a degree they were Ferrari.

i totaly disagree about Mike Gascoigne being better than Ross B but hey... everyone has different opinions :)

Gascoigne was good though and your right about Toyota, they didnt give him a chance, but it just wasn't the team for Mike anyway.
