Paul Whiffin
I love F1, I've been following it for about 15 years now and have never missed a race. Personally I dont really have a favourite team, just want someone British to be winning again, I think Button deserves success myself. I'd love to do Monaco, I can just see myself on my £20 million boat with a load of fit girlies sunning themselves!
neil tt
Both my wife and I go to Silverstone every year for the F1 race. We surpport Mclaren, my best friend from school is a quality control manager for them, and my other friend works for Ilmore that make all the panels for the road cars, (its nice to have friends). We camp on site for the 3 days and have a great laugh, and a few beers:d

uksupra
yup i love F1 too ive gotta say though, it may get more intresting now without Schumacher on the grid. yeah the field should now all start battling it out for a new star to shine! I think it will come down to the cars showing their abilities at first defining who wins.
jamesmark
It is going to be good for the sport now that Schumi is away. I have never been a fan of Schumacher some of his antics were not from a true sportsman and it was almost getting to the stage of him being above the sport. Marco
I watch it often, but get so fed up with the obscene amount of adverts they show during the race! :taped: I'm a toyota fan but not for long if they keep performing so bad with such huge budget! We make all the carbon fibre and glass fibre sections for the SLR - so ridiculously light! Looking forward to the post-Schumi era. I always supported Williams as a kid - Mansell was a childhood hero. I don't mind who wins these days, so long as their British!
2JG
I love F1! I've been following it ever since I was a kid! I don't really follow a particular team, more a fan of the drivers! I'de love to have their job It would be good if Jenson could do well this season. My other favourite brit driver has to be D.C. Very wise driver IMO. hiten55
i love f1. genrally dont support one team, but if i had to choose it bwould be mclaren. driver to watch out for this season id say kimi has a good chance but keep an eye out for Alonso again. Oh and lewis Hamilton - hopefully he can come in with a bang, rather than a puff like Button did. dont get me wrong, buttons a great driver but doesnt have the luck on his side. Anyone heard about Mika's return to f1? or was it just a rumour?
terribleturner
I used to support Williams for many years but sort of go for BAR now just for Jenson. Looking forward to this season

DaveK
I used to follow F1, but I watch it less and less each year - it has just become dull dull dull. I'm not convinced I watched any races last year and I don't have many plans this year either. If I'm in a watching-tv-mood and there is nothing else on then I'd watch it. But I no longer make particular plans to watch it, don't record it - and don't actually know in advance which weekends it's on.

[qimg]http://www.auto-adrenalina.com/images3/senna.jpg[/qimg] So you didnt like Schumi cos of his "antics" but yet you think Senna was the greatest....Senna was one of the worst ever for driving people of the track...he was one of the greatest but far more dirty than Schumacher ever was, it really bugs me that Schumi is only remembered for his bad times and not for being the greatest of all time. Everyone love's Senna even though his on track antics were far worse than Schumi's...in my mind (and i watched most of Senna's years and all of Schumachers) Schumacher was the better driver, but hey thats just my opinion. Simply the best....Simply Schumacher!

Not once have I said that my statement was based 100% on his antics all drivers are dirty it is part of the sport but Schumi done with an arrogance, so climb off your high horse. I think Senna was the greatest and would still have been the greatest if that sad day did not happen, with the increase in technology in F1 and less driver skill required (and yes I know it requires a lot of skill too) Senna would have been the best untill he retired and Schumi who I believe would have been a champion but not as many times. juanchan
Yes Illmore do rebadge the engines as far as I know, Dave works in maintence, not sure what panels, but I thought it was for the SLR. So Ilmore actually make the engines then, simply rebadging them to Mercedes at the end? Any ideas how much/little input Merc actually has on their engine then? I've always been intrigued by that arrangement. As for the panels, I've no idea what's required above or beneath the CF we make before it goes onto the car! We also make some Koenisegg parts for the CCX. I say some parts, we make the CF parts, and it's almost completely made of CF!
terribleturner
It was the arrogance for me with Schumacher that made me not like him. He was a great driver on the track, helped with a good car, but personnailty holds high in my book. Another reason i don't like Kimi.

merckx
I go to the British GP most years, but not this year. I hope the Mclarens do well, it'a pity there's a 3 week gap to the second race and then 4 weeks between the third and fourth race. I wish it was on every week.
