Not true mate, I had this argument with Paul the other day, he even showed me the mechanic sheets that he uses, and it seems that its only the TT engines that are a non interface block, NA's are. Think it has something to do with different compression between the NA's and TT's that makes one a interface and one a non interface. Suprash Posted July 24, 2004 Share Posted July 24, 2004 I see your point mate, but what I was saying comes from a central mechanics database thing, that most/all garages use, they get all technical data off it, like litres of oil used, spark, cam duration, and all sorts of other crap.......but I will point this out to the man......... Although I wouldnt take what the chap in the other thread says as proof, it doesnt say why he was ok, he mentioned something about his cam belt not being the correct tension, that might have something to do with it................ If it is the one I think it is - I first saw it on the Autotrader website back in February - when I was looking for my Supe. What turned me off it was the colour - wasn't keen on the shade of yellow. £14K he wants for it ?? Hmmm - I'd start at £11K and go no higher than £12.5K.
