DrivingTheDream
I like a bit of this on my wheels and usually buy the £7.00 stuff from Halfords that smells lush! When I was out car shopping with her the other day I seen some guy painting the wheels of cars with what looked varnish. Looked really cheap alternative to gel though, anyone know what it is? Todd
It's crap, sorry, all the paint on stuff I've ever bought looks good for a day then is gone. Still found the meguirs to be the longest lasting tyre gel.
turbonut
I've used both Autoglym and meguires. The Autoglym gives a bit more shine than the meguires, lasts marginally longer but the meguires is a lot easier to apply. With the autoglym I usually spray it onto a sponge to apply it, avoiding spraying on the polished lip and bodywork
Ian W
I used to use the Armourall (one with the viking on the front?) as it's basically just a spray on foam stuff. lasted a few days at least i found and piss easy to apply.
IDO
after once splitting a bottle of "back to black" (plastic and rubber trim restorer) I used it on the tyres and it worked a treat and lasted quite a wile as well.. But that was on my old wheels that looked a bit sorry for them selves!
