Ian W
why not just fit a cheap single din and get yourself a pocket for the gap?
Supradan
I want to be able to play cds and plug my ipod in with tape adapter so the easiest way is with a double din, dont want to spend much as next year i am going to replace the lot with a super dooper system lol;)

MaveriK
Dan, i will have both of mine out within the week. Kenwood tape and a Kenwood CD player. PM me if your interested,
tichkent
I've got my old Kenwood (DPX500 I think) double din sitting in my loft unused (have replaced with single DIN Sony head unit + pocket). It's a cd/tape effort from Japan (came with my import) and has a radio frequency adaptor for UK use (which is a little annoying cos the frequencies on screen don't match what it's actually tuned to!). It was all working fine when I took it out of the car in December (other than being quite susceptible to skipping on dirty CDs) and you're more than welcome to have it for the postage cost alone! Not sure you'll be able to use a tape adaptor though - the tape hole sits behind the motorised front panel. You can angle the front panel though so I guess if it's only a narrow lead coming from the adaptor it might be OK if you angle the panel. Oh and if you've got an auto box you've gotta be careful when you eject with the stick in park (the motorised panel hits the stick!). I'm not really selling this one well am I... Anyway - Maverik's units might be a better first shout but let me know if you want it and I'll let you know postage costs (suspect sub £10, just need to get it out of the loft and weigh it). tichkent
Where do you get these "pockets" from m8? FP-006 is the one you want. Halfords do them: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10151&productId=220489 There's a little more info on them in a write up I did on my install: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=95086&highlight=fp-006 Good luck!
