JamieP Posted March 8, 2007 Author Share Posted March 8, 2007 this laptop all works great, but the battery is fcuked. i opened it up and it's 10 1.2 volt rechargable batterys soldered in series. i'll pop down the model shop as they sell individual cells, so i can just solder them all up and make it good again. it'll work fine on an inverter though for now Ok mate thats great:) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I got my gf's daughters laptop (so she can play zoo tycoon and we can still use the computer) for £50 and that would be more than capable of doing a bit of mapping.
