16 is legal for topless IIRC.

You are kidding me?? There is just something slightly wrong with a 16yr old going topless for photos. Or am I just being over sensitive because I'm a parent...

BTW : Not even going to look at the website.

Yea, sure that must be wrong, although I would be just as shocked if my 23 year old went topless in photos as I would if my 16 year old did

Yeah, I'd be annoyed and shocked, and then I would be done for child abuse for beating her round the block once or twice...

I will go on record saying, I'm not into porn or page 3 style stuff, but that is my own view on things.

It's old enough for marriage, motorcycling, smoking, sex...why not page 3?

Note that it's not old enough for full nude modelling.

I think most people have the same reservations that you do, including me, which is probably why you'll not see 16 year old in the Sun, even though it is legal.

The thing is how would it stand when they let him take them or some one take them and they are over the age of concent!

You can have sex at 16, and what about girls or blokes that send MMS pics on their phones to each other of naughty pics, Im sur you can do that and not get in trouble and that would be hard to watch???

I must admit i'm a man of double standards when it comes to page 3 an similar things, the 18 year old's in the pics are usually stunning, and make's me wish I was young again, but if my 18 year old daughter did it, i'd not be a happy bunny.

I agree it is degrading, slutty and pervy but if the girls get their kit off and pose for the guy what can you do?

regardless of whether its legal or not, there is DEFINATELY something wrong with people wanting to see pics of topless 16 year olds. and we wonder why society has so many paedo's in it lately. we also wonder why youg girls are getting tartier and tartier. it seems to stem from a lack of parental discipline, not that the parents havent tried, on the whole that is. but its a barrel affect, one or two start getting them out and everyone wants to do it. and its getting worse.

Yup, topless is legal at 16, full flange shots not til 18. Linsey Dawn McKenzie got them out for the Daily Sport on her 16th birthday. Classy lass, that.

Yeah that's where I got my (mis)information too...

To be honest, I don't get the fascination with teenagers - girls are usually scrawny and unattractive until they fill out a little in their twenties.

IIRC making/distributing indecent photographs/pictures and psuedo pictures of a child under 18 is an offence under Sec 1 Protection of Children Act 1978.

Possessing them is an offence under Sec160 Criminal Justice Act.

But it's a case of defining "indecent".

There are defences, one of them being if you married to the subject and they are for personal use.

I haven't seen the pics in question so couldn't comment on them.

As the law defines a child as someone under 18, topless pics of a girl aged 16 or 17 would fall under the act. (this came into effect under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 definitaion of a child and the Childrens & Young Persons Act).
