Pete
That's great mate. Just keep a close eye on him the next few weeks. I'm guessing they've got him on the Walfrin? My friend had a triple bypass a few weeks back, he's 83 - but it looks like he's had a few mini strokes since. Apparently a risk from clots formed during the procedure. The nurses weren't so aware of it as they didn't know what he was like before he went in. I don't say this to scare you, just to keep a close eye. Best wishes to him and your family. Guest gzaerojon
Just an update, just got back from the hospital where he has just had another opperation he was due home monday but has had a few problems, they suspect there could be an infection but also his heart rate and blood pressure is still all over the place, and he has had a few breathing problems and panic attacks (due to breathing) the opperation he had tonight was to remove a load of fluid from his lungs and heart (over a litre) and it went well, he has a lot more colour now and they say tommorrow he will be breathing a lot better which will in turn make a real improvement to how he feels. he's now back in the high intesity ward recovering so i'm just sitting here putting loads of music on an mp3 player for him including Kate bush, the boobie brothers, pink floyd and Roxy music, i've only heard of a few but i'm sure he'll like them

vvteye
Seems more like a Yes, Wishbone Ash and Hawkind kinda guy..... Chris Rea,, for christs sake lets try for a quick recovery! My dad had his op about 12 years ago and after the same initial hassles came through about 10 days post op and looked at least 10 years younger. Still going at 82 and as I regularly smoke, laze and eat shit, I'm thinking of booking mnine now befor the waiting list ewxceeds 10 years! All the best to your Dad Jon and take care yourself... Breath in through the nose...... now pay the guy.. good gear eh?
