Hi everyone,

bought this to put on the car. Got it prepped, hump removed, (hate those stupid ridges on the things) then decided that I preffered my stillen.

and I call my girlfriend indecisive...

oh well;

here it is.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=150098096577&rd=1&rd=1

I paid 250 plus 150 at the bodyshop, so hopefully looking for 400,

we'll see what it gets to...

Mike,

I am certainly very tempted mate, although would of preferred your Stillen.

PM on it's way shortly. If you can help me fit it, I'll take it off your hands ;)

Cheers,

Greg

According to Ebay rules once its listed and has bids you have entered into a contract to sell and the add does not mention ending early either... ;)

Probably make good money on there anyway.... :)

Hey Greg,

Fitting is pretty easy I've done these a few times before. depends on what you have underneath as they have an under tray... taking the old bumper off is the biggest pita..

I'm tempted to keep it, and have a nose job later in the year... but I need the room in the garage.

When I looked for an original from sumo they wanted 575. we'll see what it goes for.. 400 is what it cost me, but you are right it will probably go for less... hey ho!

A bit random; just got called into the living room - left a lighter under the wood stove - thing just exploded and the girlfriend nearly stabbed her self with a fork.. classic!

it can be taken off ebay easily - usual comment is mistake in the listing - there are load it lets you use - but you have to do in so many hours before it's up.

Like all things like this though I prefer to just let them run as I can't be arsed with all the messing around...

Thanks for the PM Mike. ;) Where did you get this from mate, was it an ebay copy? Has it actually been lined up to your car to check fitment?

A little worried that this may need filling etc and not a straight bolt on. I've had the old bumper off a few times anyway so no probs there. Would be nice if this went straight on with no work involved though :)

Cheers,

Greg

Hoping Mike's fits OK. Think I'm gonna go for this and have it checked on Sat 24th March by Knight Racer, as I'm at Turbofit then. :)

There is only one panel that is of concen, and it depends just how perfect you want it to be. You can get the line retrimmed and sprayed, and there is always room for adjustment when you fit... just the curve...

aside from this location they always fit ok, as the wing interface can be twisted to fit exactly (they always fit fine there in my experience)

the one I have here semed fine to me.. but there is never such a thing as perfect to some people... ;)

one thing that is a perfect fit is the receipt in my wallet that says £250 not £550...lol, espeially if you catch it on a kerb!

i hope it does fit for you matey, but if you want it to be right, i think it will need some fettling

might need some fettling? :Pling:

If it fits ok i will be very happy as ive seen them sell for alot more! the only thing i am worried about is it bein too low for me to park it in multistorey car parks!

In my opinion its 1 of the best looking front bumpers out there for the supra at da mo.
