Odd really because most of the car review types seem to think they are OK, they certainly look the part anyway and the engine sounds nice. However - I regretted not buying something like a golf - the build quality of my Focus was pretty poor and I soon realised why you pay extra for things like VW. My Focus was 3 years old. I had a lift from a friend in a Seat equivalent - which was about twice the age. It was very obviously a much more solid, much better put together car.
