AndrewOW
I was meant to have gone to the Boxhill meet yesterday, but as the weather was so crap on friday night, I woke to find one of our wheelie bins had fallen against the side of the car and scratched it, plus another load of seagull crap was all over it (again). So I decided not to go, and as the weather was gorgeous, I instead cleaned the car. I washed it, dried it off and used some old black Color Fast T-Cut, which I've had for so many years, on the scratch(es). I ended up doing the whole car! Only took just over an hour. Lovely Here are a few pics (more in my garage). Excuse my ugly mug in one of them, its just to show the result

Tom
wow, I don't think I've ever seen that kind of shine before! this can't be the original paint too?
Supe
I always hear people saying, T-Cut is good, tried it about three years back and was nothing special, maybe it was a duff one. Your car is looking awesome, nice mirror finish you have there
SupraSkunk
Looks good buddy i just done my new SZ with Autoglym super resin polish and then used the AG extra gloss potection on top, if you want to keep that nice shine go by a bottle of it and put it over the top and it will keep that nice shine for months...heres mine:)
AndrewOW
Cheers! Its all the original paintwork, except the bonnet, but the whole car, including the roof came up brilliantly. I've got the Autoglym extra gloss protection, which I ideally wanted to do today, but as we all know the weather turned out crap again and I've had to put all that off for another day. I wouldn't ordinarily use T-Cut too much, but as I had to get the scratches out I thought I'd try it. Just use a little of it and it really goes far. So easy to use too and wipes off without effort. Your car looks great SuperSkunk. Slightly retouched the contrast in Photochop per chance?!

That's the thing about Supra's, they cost lots in fuel, and you have to keep them sparkling, but hey don't they look the mutts nuts!

[qimg]http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y48/jaxdanjo/beatusupppee.jpg[/qimg] No photoshopping here Hey smarty pants.. leave me alone and stop picking on the new boy lol.... i didnt photoshop my pics... lol if your saying that cos they say (edited) its because every pic downloaded from my phone to the pc gets the prefix (edited) after the file name...the cam on my phone is not what id call great and gives all photos to much colour...but hey you can still see the shine..and none of that turtle wax cheap o rubish for me ....only the best for my new Supe... a great car should be cleaned with only the finest grade waxes and polish... turtle wax is more for ford escorts, astras and other run of the mill sheds on wheels ..... Only joking buddy...as long as it makes it shine hey! and i must say yours looks very nice... I'll have to borrow a good cam and take some better pics of mine to stop all this photoshop bullying ive been getting ps.. i like those wheels you got there.
