veilsideTT
Hi Peeps, My front shocks are about had it. They have just started to leak according to my MOT man and the springs all round dont look the best. She handles like a bag of s**t to be honest (Yes dude, i know its a UK) But theres "Lardy" and "Very Lardy" Now, i dont really want to lower the car as i already catch my front bumper now and again so what can i do as i want to really stiffen up the ride! Oh er misses! Need Shocks and springs all round and not to lower the car (or maybe just a little as the front does sit slightly high) Options People????? Scott Ps, i run on 19"s if that makes any difference!

veilsideTT
well mine feels more like a boat not a car! Your stock suspension must be in a lot better nick than mine thats all i can say!
richy2jz-gte
fit either a set of j.spec bilsteins (wich ive just fitted to my uk) or fit some adjustable shocks like konis.
Nick_TC
Depends on what you want to spend?? CJ will tell you how lovely his Tein Coilovers are, or, you could just go with springs, shocks, ARB's, all dependant on choice, application and budget. Scooter
I think i remember Chris Wilson saying he can make springs to the desired length/stiffness, so i presume you could just get stiffer springs made in the same uk length and just use new stock shocks? veilsideTT
Cheers for the replys people. I dont want to be spending a fortune on this but i dont want to cheap on it and not do the job right! I would be interested to hear if Chris Wilson can do this. But would a set of New Stock UK shocks be up for the job or will it still feel lardy? Any other brands i could go with along with the springs that Chris Wilson can make? Scott

veilsideTT
Im right in thinking that CW's full set up (Shocks, Springs, Geom)that he offers is around the £1000 mark yes? Which is more than i wanted to spend on this. But i have heard that this is the best way to go. Should i be hanging on and spending that bit extra or is there a cheaper route? Ie, New Stock Shocks and a set of stiffend springs from CW? Im not a track driver or anything and i wouldnt say i push my car to its limits around the twistys. But the car does feel very sloppy so i need to do something at least! Scott
