ChrisSZ
Any ideas anyone? Just bought the car - it had a slight miss-fire under load which clears once the revs pick up. I figured that since the car hadn't been driven since June it would clear itself on the way home. Unfortunately it hasn't yet (100 miles home) and call me stupid but I'm buggered if I can see where the hell the spark plugs are on the bloody thing:Pling: If anyone has a pic of how to locate/inspect the plugs and any ideas what else to check I'd be most grateful. Cheers, Chris :d
JamesRZ
I had the 3.0 v6 on a 2001 plate mate i had exactly the same problem and its the coil packs playing up, I am told it is a common fault on all of the Jag v6 engines by the dealer. Have you got warrenty? And the spark plugs are a bitch to get to, let me know if you still havent found them and i will send you a picture
ChrisSZ
Hi mate, Yeah, I've since managed to discover that it's a comon fault although it seems to have rectified itself at the moment . Any pics/how-to's would be much appreciated though. Cheers, Chris

SUPRALOOPY
before you get carried away with coil packs. check that the coil pack looms have not been trapped in the covers when the spark plugs were changed. I've had this with a xjr v8. and the fault codes said it was a coil pack(wich in theory it was..but because of a trapped wire)
