Konrad
Doh my camera is too weak to make full eclipse pic, I just found out that all previous one was made with EV set to -1.5 - that's why i did not have glow effect lol

Konrad
Can't eliminate all shakiness Your camera should have antishake option
Hermit
What camera you got, Pete? This was one of the better shots I got (with a coolpix 5200 + tripod)... definately pink

geoffvalenti
Ok then, hot from the camera
Pete
It's an old HP945, no anti shake, on a tripod didn't help either. I think at max zoom for such a long exposure even the slightest bit of wind is causing a slight wobble. There aren't any internal facing windows so I can't do indoors. Yours is good Mike. Martin - just auto exposure, no EV correction.
RedM
Ok then, hot from the camera That's really good. How did you set the camera up for that?
geoffvalenti
Canon EOS 5D, sigma 135-400mm lens at full zoom. Mounted on a tripod. ISO 1600, f7.1 3.2 second exposure
juanchan
Ok then, hot from the camera That's a fantastic photo! Good effort from everyone on the photos front - all of them way better than I would have managed to achieve if my camera was working! Burna
Jo tried to take some photos but they all came out black. I showed her your photo Pete as I know your camera is a similar spec and she said....... Wait for it......... "Pete's in Telford, he's nearer the moon than we are!" I couldn't stop laughing. She does tell good jokes sometimes
