Pete
Why? If someone is willing to pay for it they should be able to stick whatever they want on it. I like it. This rotation thing is nice - http://www.myearthdream.com/#root/rotation
monkey76364
I love it...so different... but must cost so much painting all the parts that need replacing.
Thorin
I notice the web URL on the car is just myearthdream.com... only they haven't got a default DNS address for the domain and it doesn't work unless you add the www at the beginning. Alex
It's certainly brave. It's all because Simon Fuller (Pop Idol format creator and manager of various pop stars in the past) is now in charge of Honda F1's PR. His team have FAILED to find a new title sponsor (as BAT have pulled out due to tobacco advertising rules), so they looked for a new idea to fill the gap ie lots of little ones. Only problem is, there isn't that much space on a car! So by getting them to sign up to this "concept" and not have their names on the cars he's pulled off a master stroke of PR boswelocks. So it's Genius....but the cars look odd and I much prefered the black they were using in testing.
Alex
It's also genius for another reason...you try working out the exact shape of any of the aero aides! I expect the black area's to have a list of sponsors and Honda emblazond on them for the season opener on the 18th
Big Ads
Surely they are loosing out on sooo much money through loss of advertising?

RedM
F1. Environmental issues. F1. Environmental issues. F1 and environmental issues. Something's not quite right here.
MKIVDreamer
I expect the black area's to have a list of sponsors and Honda emblazond on them for the season opener on the 18th I suggested the same to a good friend of mine that works for HondaF1 - here's his response: "Nope.. No stickers. That is the car. That is it. Nothing else. (You can buy a pixel on it if you want :-) ) "

Dragonlady
Surely they are loosing out on sooo much money through loss of advertising? Not a company as big as Honda. Just think what they make, they even have their own exec jet now. From little garden mowers to planes....what next?
TLicense
Cue german gestapo voice "Ve have vays and means" It's also genius for another reason...you try working out the exact shape of any of the aero aides! I like the fact that Jenson flew from Bahrain to the UK, to tell people that he's enivronmentally conscious, and then flew back to Bahrain. Quality. MARTIN R
From a marketing point of view, I say they are to a winner!! Lets face it we are all discussing it:d
stupra
It's different, and lets face it, they need to make the paint schemes more interesting in F1, because the race's and the driver's are f*cking boring nowadays !.
hiten55
apparently they have lost over £15 million in sposorship by giving up the space. but the fact that the project is sponsered by google (using google earth) and the reaction they will get, means that its worth a lot more. not to mention how much bridgestone must have paid to have the only name on the car (front nose cone). shrewd move id say. shame it wont win them any races.... my moneys on chrome and orange as the winning colours this year....
