Manic
After this http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23611 I have been trawling up and down the "wheel size" threads. Everybody seems to be after 18/19" wheels. I would like aftermarket 17 x 8 (front) 17 x 9/9.5 (rears) My budget is limited to about £1200 for wheels & tyres:blink: . For the tyres im after F1's, 235/45/17 & 255/40/17. The tyres are no prob I can get all four for roughly £430 fitted etc but to get four wheels for £800 I guess this is going to be difficult. Ive been into a Motorworld shop today and although the chap was very helpful we couldnt really find any manufacturer who could supply those size wheels. Is there another combination of wheels within my budget that can encompass those tyres. Matt
Bobbeh
£200 for a wheel.. hmm you'd better start looking in the for sale section otherwise you'll end up with a set of Fox's from Halfords that were designed for an Escort
Manic
That bad eh I guess its the rears 9.5 j that bang up the prices Matt Oh and thanks for the encouraging tone:p
Gordon F
Why not just fit a set of stock 17's?. You should be able to pick up a set and get them refurbed for well under £800. Plus, the car will drive really nice on them, you can upgrade to UK brakes and know they will fit, and you dont have to declare them to your insurance company
Bobbeh
Hehe. You're welcome Have you tried OZ or BBS? Seriously about the f/s section, you can find some good bargains there Check out these, they look nice and are more realistic a price for a new wheel at that size: http://www.envyperformance.com/build.cfm?page=product&cat=26&id=1537

Think there were more than a couple of people here that had indifferant service from them, me inc. Regards Dunk
