terribleturner
Now i'm looking at either the..... "Blitz Super Sound Bov" or the "HKS SQV Bov". Are they easy to fit or shall i get a garage to do it?? Which one is the loudest?? Anyone recommend one or the other?? And what sort of prices should i be looking at??
Bobbeh
Get the HKS, heard too many people on this forum with failing Blitz BOV's.
Matt B
I'd say HKS...
terribleturner
I've been offered the HKS one for £140, not sure if it has all the pipes etc.. Does this sound good??
Bobbeh
Yes
SimonB
You can buy it as either just a BOV or with an install kit that comes with hoses and brackets etc to let you mount it in the stock location. Or you can get kits with flanges that you have to weld on to a hard pipe somewhere. Even without a kit, £140 is pretty good.
terribleturner
does anyone know what the difference is between the hks universal ssqv and the original part for the supra?? can't be much of a difference can there?? The bloke got confused and is now trying to sell me the Blitz, but i don't think it's for me.
Bobbeh
I believe its just the BOV without the custom piping & clips needed to fit whatever car you wish to fit it on.
veilsideTT
Go with the HKS!
Terminator
My HKS BOV is on a hard pipe kit next to the throttle body. I bought it second hand so have no idea how old it is. I have had it a couple of years and it is working perfectly. I clean around the inside(accessible) every month or so and all I get out is dust. If you want loud it can be loud. It looks very tidy and has no funny bit sticking out.:flame Dev -Totally recommend it:thumbs:
